Used about 2 months ago FlickR to create web albums! Realized later that FlickR had a limit of 100MB upload per calendar month. Ok with that! Loads of photo where not showing, thought it was due to overloading but... the month passed and the problem remained. I then realized that FlickR allows you only 200 photos (not mentioned clearly when you sign in), actually forcing you to the upgraded account! Then tried Picasa which is simply amazing in some features such as
- geotag
- Panoramio connection
- face recognition
- upload time
- extra features with Picnic etc
Flickr is still better in terms of presentation and visitor experience but would definitely vote for Picasa! You can compare front-ends yourselves as well:
